Seeking: Part-Time Worship Leader

Wyoming Park UMC seeks a Worship Leader who will work closely with our pastor in cultivating worship services and worship teams that help lead our congregation into the experience of witnessing God through Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit.  Fostering dynamic congregational worship, singing the best of the cherished familiar hymns and the best of the new contemporary Christian music, is a key priority for our church. This position is ten hours per week.
Some responsibilities include:

Seeking: Positions at Lowell UMC

Contemporary Worship Leader: Approximate average weekly hours – 15.  Progressive United Methodist church in Lowell seeking part-time Contemporary Worship Leader to provide music leadership, accompaniment, coordination and direction to band and congregation for creative contemporary worship experience, select and implement musical pieces on a weekly basis.

Chancel Choir Director: Approximate average weekly hours – 4-5. Lowell UMC looking for individual who will provide music direction and leadership for the Chancel Choir with participation in the Traditional service 2-3 Sundays per month as well as some special worship services, select music and give direction during a 1-1/2 hour weekly practice.

Organist/Pianist: Approximate average weekly hours – 5-6. Lowell UMC looking for an individual who will prepare and perform musical pieces for weekly worship services and seasonal concerts. Submit a list of music titles to the Music Director for the bulletin and sanctuary slides along with other duties. Bachelor’s degree in either Organ Performance or in Music Education.
